Victoria Stewart – Nail Stylist, VS NAILS Christchurch
Victoria has over ten years experience as a nail technician and running a salon business.
Improving clients natural nail health and appearance is the first step in every appointment and this naturally led to (infill) manicures and medi-pedi’s being Victoria’s specialty.
Clients appreciate her focus on offering a service with the highest hygiene practices and expert knowledge in selecting the best products.
90% of her client base is on repeat for three weekly manicures and six weekly pedicures, while 10% of her clients visit monthly.
Why did you start doing nails?
I wanted manicured hands and feet without being cut and exposed to bloodborn viruses, fungus and bacteria. This idea quickly snowballed into a little business of regular family and friends cheering me on to go full time as a nail technician/artist.
How long have you been doing nails?
Since 2013 – wow! that’s over ten years now.
Do you mind doing feet?
Pedicures have surprisingly become a service I am very passionate about!
I hear from clients – many other techs, refuse to do feet!
Do you work full time?
Yes, I work eight hours a day, five days a week. I take three, one-week holidays, and close down for two weeks over Christmas.
Where did you study?
I am very passionate about continued education so here’s the list so far: INM Natures Manicures, INM Gelavish Gel Polish System, Certificate in Beauty Treatments, Certificate in Traditional Swedish Massage, Hand & Nail Harmony Gel Soak Off System, Hand & Nail Harmony Polygel System, Hand & Nail Harmony Softgel System, IBX System Education Program, Barbicide Sanitation & Disinfection, Gelish Educator Theory, Gelish Blooming Gel Training, Gelish Ombre Dip Coat Training, Gelish Foundation Flex Training, Gelish Brush on Builder (BIAB) Course, Elim Institute of Pedology & Skin Science…
